Background

Practicing Massage since 2012, Rachel is dedicated to thoroughly understanding her client's concerns and needs, addressing the root cause of pain and discomfort, and providing education and practices for clients at home in to integrate the healing process. 

As an avid and passionate learner, Rachel has a wide range of education in manual therapy, movement, and energy healing techniques.

 

  • Licensed Massage Therapist - Maryland and NCBTMB National Board Certified in 2012

  • Registered Yoga Teacher - 200 RYT Yoga Alliance certification - 2015

    • Completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training at the University of Maryland, Center for Integrative Medicine. This teacher training incorporated an in-depth study of energy healing and Reiki Master level attunment 

  • NASM CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) - 2017

    • Learning through injuries that being super flexible is not the goal of yoga, sparked a desire to learn more about strength training and a balanced approach to fitness

  • Certified Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition® - 2013

    • 20 years of reading nutrition books, trying 100's of diets​, searching for a cure to eating disorders and unhealthy habits led to the profound truth; that there is not one answer for every body. A holistic approach to diet, exercise and wellbeing, including support from caring professionals, leads to sustainable goal achievement
